Proteus-Eretes in het Lang en Proteus-Eretes in het Kort: the competition races of our neighbours in Delft. This is always an incredibly fun weekend! ALL of the compoploegen start this race, and some ploegen even start twice!
The PEiL is 4500 metres long: the first really long distance for the first-year ploegen. The PEiK is on Saturday evening, and is started by the Sprint Bokaal ploeg De Oude Taarten and as a fun number by the ladies of Bootgeval: even the coach starts ;)

Baaninformatie
The races are held at Proteus-Eretes on the Schie river. The finish of the 4500 metres is in front of the Proteus building, the start 4.5 kilometres towards Rotterdam! So you have to row up quite a distance before you can start. The PEiK also finishes right in front of Proteus, but starts in the opposite direction.

No bowa but we are going to row!
Because Proteus is not that far, we will row the boats to Delft. You will do that yourselves. I have sent the ploegenbazen an overview - that way you can properly divide who rows which boat to Delft or to The Hague. Please note! On Fridays we are welcome at Proteus between 12:00 and 20:00. On Sunday or Monday at the latest, the boats should be back. Preferably as soon as possible - Proteus does not have space for all our boats for that long. If you can't manage to row the boats back on Monday, please let me know! Then I can discuss it with Proteus' wedstrijdcommittee.
Bereikbaarheid
Both the party and the competition will take place at Proteus. The address of the boathouse and building is Rotterdamseweg 362-A, 2628 AT Delft.
Proteus is only a good half hour by bike from the loods! You can also take the train - in that case it is most convenient to get off at Delft Campus station.
You can sleep at home after the race or party, so no hassle with overnight stays.
