This coming weekend it is finally time for the Competition Training Camp, or Compo traika! During this weekend, you will take your first real steps in student rowing, get to know another club and work on your skills. You will have a great time together with your team and many other EJC and OJC teams!
As mentioned earlier, you’re in for an amazing experience this weekend! There will be plenty of rowing and partying. Below, I’ll outline the exact plan for the weekend.
In the morning, you will have your own training session and row towards Proteus-Eretes in Delft. Make sure a coach cycles along who knows the route, or that your coxswain is informed about the way. Also, ensure that you bring dry clothes and personal belongings in the boat or hand them over to a coach or accompanying cyclist.
In the afternoon, lunch will take place in the soos of Proteus-Eretes. This will be a true compo lunch, and you will need to purchase a ticket for it via Cappie → Activities.
After lunch, you will have an afternoon training session as you head back home. This training will be extra fun, as the CompoCie has prepared various small challenges for you. More information on this will follow!
After the afternoon training, there will be time to shower and change at de Laak, which we highly recommend so that you’ll be ready in time for dinner and the cantus!
In the evening, we will all have dinner together at de Laak. You will also need to purchase a ticket for this. Dinner will be served around 19:30, followed by the Great Compo Cantus!
Tickets for lunch, dinner, and the cantus can be purchased via Cappie. Individual tickets are available, as well as a combo ticket if you plan to join for the whole day!

Packing list:
We're rowing to Proteus-Eretes in Delft!
The address of the loods and soos is Rotterdamseweg 362-A, 2628 AT Delft.
Should you join later: Proteus is only a good half-hour bike ride from the Loods! Alternatively, you can take the train - in that case it is most convenient to get off at Delft Campus station.
